Florida in January

While Nate studies for the Utah bar, I'm off visiting family. I first spent two and a half weeks in Florida with my grandma and cousins. Max loved the warm weather. He would try and coax me toward the back door... and then cry hysterically if we walked passed. The first time I took him out by the pool, he walked straight up to it, got down on his hands and knees, bent over and stuck his hand in. No fear. He walked gingerly in the spikey Florida grass and loved exploring the different textures - rocks, dirt, sand. We went to Lion Country Safari and Butterfly World. We ate at the French Bakery and had Carvel ice cream three times. We had KFC at the beach (tradition) and got bagels to eat on the boardwalk for breakfast. It was a much appreciated change from cold Utah.
