food taken elsewhere

When Nate was living in D.C. he rented a room next to Scott and Kristi. They had him over for dinner a few times, and then once when I was visiting. They are now living in Provo, so we finally returned the favor. I made a stuffed pork tenderloin, and it turned out really great. Not only was it fairly easy, it made a enough for left overs... plus some.

Last Sunday morning, Nate made pancakes. Hmm... that didn't sound too exciting. Let me start over. Last Sunday morning, Nate made banana pecan pancakes!

Nate has been home sick the last two days, so I made his Grandma Hazel's ham and corn chowder and his mom's rolls to make him feel all warm and fuzzy and loved.

And then I made him some of his Aunt Sandy's peach oatmeal.

My sister-in-law, Jasmine, wants to start a food blog together to store our recipes. I think that might work better than trying to post pictures of food on this blog. Who cares, right? If you really cared, you'd be on a food blog... and hopefully soon, my food blog. Blog name suggestions are welcome.
