snow day

Nate and I went to a movie on Saturday up in Salt Lake. Well actually, Nate went to a movie while Max and I walked around the mall. Alas, we are past the stage where Max can sleep through a movie. So for two hours, I window shopped. In a mall. On a weekend. In December. I paced the mall a few times refusing to go into the stores. The only place I initially considered buying anything was Ross because it's cheap, but the line was too long. So I gave in, went into a shoe store, and bought myself a pair of boots. We still had time to spare, so Max and I headed to the car to wait. It was snowing! I let Max play in the back seat while he watched excitedly... and I took this shot.
