Max turned one on the 4th, but we haven't celebrated yet. Nate was on a business trip to San Jose that week, and now we are waiting to have cake when Julie and Zach come into town. Max doesn't know the difference, right? I did make sure I was extra attentive to him that day. But then Deborah brought me dinner and we chatted for a few hours. Deep in conversation, we noticed too late that Max was getting into Deborah's leftovers. And that's number one on my list of "Things Max Loves."
Making Messes
Carrying things in his mouth
Whining
Smiling
Knobs and Buttons
Playing with shoes
Looking out the window
Playing with his cars
Smiling
Pushing and riding in his big red car
Eating blueberries
Poking at moles
Putting clothes on his head and crawling around
Walking with Dad
Holding mine or Nate's ear when falling asleep
Playing the keyboard
Feeding himself
Being outside

i love the picture of you and Max, its perfect. love all the other photos too. Max is too cute. It is adorable that he likes to hold your ear when he sleeps:)
